Stephanie lives and works at Bread & Butter Farm, where she teaches cheesemaking for Vermont Farm Tours. Stephanie has over a decade’s experience in food systems and place-based ecology. Her interest in agriculture grew out of her undergraduate experience at Sterling College, where she discovered a passion for healthy food, land, animals, plants, and people.
Stephanie is also a Nurse Practitioner and brings to her workshops a deep appreciation and knowledge of the interconnectivity of human nutrition, cultural ecology, and mental wellness. She feels fortunate to be living out her dream of farming and living in community while also applying her medical background as she develops an on-farm clinic at Bread & Butter Farm.
Chris founded Vermont Farm Tours in 2009 and is active in Vermont's local food and agriculture scene, serving on the board of Slow Food Vermont. In his spare time, Chris is an avid skier, mountain biker, gardener, winemaker, and cook.

In addition, Chris runs Cocktail Walk, a Thursday evening stroll to three of Winooski, Vermont's best restaurants for craft cocktails and appetizers.
