Greetings from Vermont! We offer an on-farm cheesemaking workshop as well as a private half-day and full-day driving tour to local vineyards. We can accommodate groups as small as two people or as large as 50+ people, and are happy to customize a tour to fit your interests and budget. Booking - All tours and workshops are booked online. Please call Chris at 802.922.7346 prior to booking your tour to confirm availability and discuss your experience. Bookings are refundable up to 48hrs before the tour (less a 5.5% service fee). All tours are private—groups are not combined. The cheesemaking workshop may have multiple groups—up to 12 people, but typically 2-6 people.

Transportation - The Wine Tour includes transportation. We are happy to pick you up at your accommodations in the Burlington area.
The Cheesemaking Workshop does not include transportation and takes place at Bread and Butter Farm: Leduc Farm Dr, Shelburne, VT 05482.

Timing - Workshops and tours begin at 10am or 2pm. Workshops last two hours. Half-day tours last three to four hours. Full-day tours last six to eight hours.

Cost - Workshops are $75/person. Half-day tours are $250 total for up to three people. Full-day tours are $400 total for up to three people. Larger groups (four or more) are $75/person half-day and $125/person full-day. A nonrefundable 5.5% booking fee is added at checkout. 

Your Guide - Chris Howell founded Vermont Farm Tours in 2009 and is active in Vermont's local food and agriculture scene, serving on the board of Slow Food Vermont. In his spare time, Chris is an avid skier, mountain biker, gardener, winemaker, and cook. He also runs Cocktail Walk, a Thursday evening stroll to three of Winooski, Vermont's best restaurants for craft cocktails and appetizers.
