Food and taste education are important components of Vermont Farm tours. We arrange cheesemaking workshops, guided tastings, and pairings. Our educational offerings are led by VFT staff, local chefs, or the producers themselves.
Yes. Chris and the team are not only engaging tour guides, but also experienced speakers, educators, and event planners. Our topics of expertise include Agritourism & Culinary Tourism, Vermont's Local Foods Movement, Community Food Systems, Slow Food, Terroir: the Taste of Place, Cooking, and Community Gardening. We are also able to arrange a panel of farmers, chefs, producers, and industry professionals.
